Then there is the beautiful Finger Lakes area and, of course, America’s top-rated state park, Letchworth State Park. It’s WEST from Lake George to the Finger Lakes, and it’s WEST from the Finger Lakes to Letchworth State Park! He’s even pointing to the map as he says it! Sorry, just thought it was funny.

  7. Lewis Roberts on April 30, 2021 at 8:43 pm

Hi Guys, Love your videos and travels with Bo. I always wonder why anyone would give you a thumbs down on any of your Vlogs. I would love to travel but due to injuries received in the mid-east I cannot. I love seeing the things you do and places you go. You two have a great relationship and it shows. God bless you both – Happy travels and be safe.

  8. Bridgette C on April 30, 2021 at 8:43 pm

  11. Kim Russ on April 30, 2021 at 8:48 pm

I really enjoyed your video! Because of you I joined the outdoor women’s group "Sisters On The Fly" and I will be in Central NY region this fall with SOTF. Thanks for posting such informative videos. HAPPY TRAVELS 😊

  12. Brian Donnachie on April 30, 2021 at 8:49 pm

Thank you and going to see the State Campground! I can’t handle crowds when on vacation. No thanks Lake George Camping but it is a lovely lake.

  13. Stelbot Adventures on April 30, 2021 at 8:49 pm

You mentioned the winery a couple times. Did you do a Harvest Host at a winery? If so, which one?

As always, thank you for the video.

  14. Shawn Simpson on April 30, 2021 at 8:49 pm

    Great video and very informative!!!

  15. Patti on April 30, 2021 at 8:49 pm

If you two are going toward Watkins Glen, there is a free boondockng location nearby. It’s called Sugar Hill Forest off from Fire Tower Road. There are flushing toilets, water and some nice trails for you and the dog. The falls are wonderful at Watkins Glen too.

  16. Christine Ryan on April 30, 2021 at 8:50 pm

We are from northwest Ohio and can’t believe we have not yet made it to the Adirondacks yet. So beautiful!

  17. Linea Pearce on April 30, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Next best thing to being there in person is watching your video – thank you!

  18. Craig Smith on April 30, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Going to NY this summer. I retire in April. !! I lived by Albany when I was a kid for 2 yrs. So looking forward to exploring. Thanks.

  19. Tom Karasch on April 30, 2021 at 8:53 pm

You did very well at hitting the hidden gems of NYS. However, you said going "East" twice, when you were actually going West. LOL

  20. Cooking Frenzy on April 30, 2021 at 8:53 pm

Incredible scenery of the Adirondacks! And the dog sitting in the front is so cyoote! Such a cute and well-behaved dog!

  21. Egyptian Magician on April 30, 2021 at 8:54 pm

Downtown hamondsport ny, lol, Awesome, I am there several times a week 🙂

  22. Walking Writer on April 30, 2021 at 8:56 pm

Thanks for another great Adirondack video. The camera work (and the food) looked awesome! But twelve hours of rain was nothing. This spring in Central NY it seemed like we had twelve WEEKS of rain. Looking forward to your next adventure!

  23. Janice Voss on April 30, 2021 at 8:57 pm

Great video!! The waterfall was so beautiful. We will put the finger lake parks on our to-do list the next time we are in the area. Safe travels 😊🇺🇸

I just discovered your channel! I love your documentary style, it is very relaxing! Wonderful photoraphy 😍

  25. James NYC. on April 30, 2021 at 9:01 pm

That RV park @3:05 looks like my Brooklyn neighborhood on the weekend. Can’t imagine anyone wanting to stay at a place like that.

  26. Katelyn Anne on April 30, 2021 at 9:02 pm

Great video!! I was just in the adirondacks

  27. Thomas Brown on April 30, 2021 at 9:02 pm

We are planning a trip to the Adirondacks this summer. I am fearful of roads with steep drop-offs and no guiderail. Can you tell me if there are campgrounds or roads we should avoid? Thanks!

  28. Michelle R on April 30, 2021 at 9:03 pm

That’s beautiful. My truck would never make it from Long Island with a camper.

  29. Dave C. on April 30, 2021 at 9:04 pm

No one from Upstate goes to those massive campgrounds with tons of people. Those are for the city dwellers from NYC and Jersey. We avoid them like the plague.

  30. angel girl on April 30, 2021 at 9:06 pm

    We live here

  31. James Hodgins on April 30, 2021 at 9:06 pm

That big State Park looks like Travers City State Park!

  32. Barbara Warren on April 30, 2021 at 9:10 pm

This is where we live and work in our RV. We are currently in the Lake District, but our next job is back in the high peaks.

While you are in NY, don’t miss the Thousand Islands and the bays on the eastern end of Lake Ontario. Some of the most beautiful places in the world.

  33. Tony Bucca on April 30, 2021 at 9:10 pm

From Lake George, you went WEST to the Finger Lakes…just sayin"

  34. Kevin Williamson on April 30, 2021 at 9:11 pm

If you get back to NY and are in the Southern Tier and need a place to park for the night, look us up. We would be happy to have you! We have camped the Adirondacks for 20+ years. Fall camping there is the best!

  35. G. Perry on April 30, 2021 at 9:12 pm

I subscribed to your channel after watching the first video. You two are awesome. No how to instruction, which are great when you need them but yours allow us to share the rv and camping experience. Keep enjoying your retirement and sharing your travels with us.

  36. Michelle R on April 30, 2021 at 9:14 pm

They have free campgrounds Upstate for boon docking . I live in a camper full time can’t wait until this summer. Upstate is so beautiful

  37. O'Deanne Hartnett on April 30, 2021 at 9:17 pm

Twice you mentioned traveling east. Lake George to the Finger Lakes is west. And Finger Lakes to Letchworth is west!

  38. Leslie Charbonneau on April 30, 2021 at 9:17 pm

We have camped at Donaldson’s across from Fish Creek for 45 years.

  39. Janice Foundas on April 30, 2021 at 9:19 pm

I took the kids there every summer!

  40. Mary Stahl on April 30, 2021 at 9:20 pm

wonderful. what time of year is best to visit?

  41. Adam Smith on April 30, 2021 at 9:20 pm

The Adirondacks are underated. It’s the largest piece of protected land in the US yet barely anyone outside of NY knows about it. It’s basically the Smokey Mountains x10.

  42. michael davis on April 30, 2021 at 9:24 pm

Great Job! We really enjoy your photography, the commentary and editing. This is award winning work! Bo is a superstar – he seemed to greatly enjoy the boat ride. I camped at Fish Creek as a young boy with my parents and remember running down to the lake as soon as I could to start my fishing adventure. Thx!

  43. Jesse Paradis on April 30, 2021 at 9:24 pm

I live right at the Adirondack foothills! Just about ten minutes from Lake George I’m very happy that you’re showing the beauty of this area!
