Kayaking in New York City??

Kayaking in New York City??

Brooklyn, New York. Home of mouth-watering pizza, legendary hip-hop…and striped bass fishing opportunities??? That’s right. This is quintessential urban fishing. Finding a spot on google maps in the middle of the city, grabbing some rods and hitting the road! I had NO idea what to expect as I launched my Hobie in The Gowanus Canal, which made the fish catches that much sweeter!!! Interested in seeing what other cities have these opportunities? Just have to catch up on my new show Fish My City with Mike Iaconelli on Nat Geo Wild!!!

eww the Gowanus… not surprised you caught a fish there but i was just surprised it wasnt mutated and ate you instead.
My good friend’s mom told me when she was a kid her friends would swim in that water all the times, i believe that was back in the late 40s… she lived to be 89, hmm
